Rehabilitation after spine surgery
Depending on the type of spine surgery and the support system a patient has in place at home – our surgeons may recommend they stay at an in-patient rehabilitation centre following their operation.
What does spinal fusion mean?
Dr Hsu and Dr Singh may recommend spinal fusion to treat a deformity such as scoliosis or kyphosis, a slipped vertebra, a painful spine caused by severe arthritis, or to stabilise the spine.
