The right rehabilitation can make all the difference

Not every spine condition requires surgery. In fact, for many patients, structured exercise is a key part of conservative treatment and for those who do undergo surgery, rehabilitation is an essential step in recovery. At NSW Spine Specialists, we take a collaborative approach to patient care, working closely with the experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologists.

Exercise Physiologists play an important role in helping patients improve strength, mobility, function and confidence through tailored, evidence-based exercise programs. Whether supporting conservative management of a spinal condition or guiding recovery after surgery, their goal is to help patients move better and achieve the best possible long-term outcomes.

Here at our Norwest practice, we are fortunate to work closely with Wesley and Gian, Accredited Exercise Physiologists whose evidence-based approach focuses on personalised rehabilitation. Wesley has extensive experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, return-to-work and return-to-sport programs, while Gian brings expertise in functional rehabilitation and helping people achieve long-term movement and health goals. Together, they provide tailored exercise programs that complement each patient's spine care plan.

Because great spine care isn't just about diagnosis or surgery, it's about giving patients the right support to recover, stay active and get back to doing what matters most.
